These are the units that store the calibration, so the part number has to match the vehicle build, not just the model.
Module listings show the OEM number printed on the casing. A visually identical module from a different trim or market will physically plug in and then refuse to communicate, or communicate with the wrong calibration. Where a module requires programming or pairing after fitting, that is a workshop operation on the vehicle and is not included with the part.
If you are replacing a failed module, keep the old unit until the new one is confirmed working — the number on its label is the only reliable identification you will have.
